just found your blog. I have a "beach house" in southwest FL(well it's one block off the beach)
I love all beachy decor and would probably still decorate that way even if I lived in the mountains of colorado. I'll be back often becuz I like our stuff and your blogging style!

Hey Suzanne,
Thanks for stopping by my "beachsnaps" blog. Yes, bromeliads love the SHADE...they like tight quarters, too...to be potbound. If you put them in the ground on the shady side of the house, they should do better.

P. S. I'm in Iowa for the summer but will be back in southwest Florida October 1 and will pick up my beach blog again...maybe you'll come back? Meanwhile, I'm at my other haunt: abbeystyle.blogspot.com

Read your interview on Cathy's blog this morning...super cool that you two became friends...you two actually look like you could be sisters! LOVE the beach...your colors are very refreshing...don't think I would have the guts to go mostly white...but I love the look!

I'm in love with your little hello guy at the top of your blog! (I have scrolled back up to look at him like 8 times!)

Read that you like tennis. My son thinks he is going to be the next Roger Federer...just turned 7 and has taken lessons for the last two years. He eats, sleeps, breathes, plays tennis all day long! I might post a little video clip of him playing soon on my blog!
