you never realize what is inside these kids today...
..this is what was inside mine...
Forest

The Forest is misty, very humid, dense…full of life.
Sounds of birds chirping and bugs flicking the water off their wings,
fresh dew is everywhere around the grass, the animals are waking up
from hibernation, they are stretching their bones from a long sleep.
It is now Spring…
Flowers are blooming, the grass is lusciously green, full of color,
The bark on the trees are warm brown. The deer are back for blueberry bushes
with a bit of bruises on them, but that’s OK for the deer.
Bears are near the river looking for trout, flying through the crisp,
crashing, white, water coming down the mossy rocks.
Squirrels are coming out of their trees, they are glaring at the sun
they haven’t seen for months.
The squirrels are swelled to see there are fresh nuts and acorns on oaks.
The Bucks are out in the grass fields.
A Peregrine Hawk is looking for small creatures with an extraordinary view.
The hawk sped down with remarkable speed, scoops up the animal
with a kill in his claw.
A mouse is covered in mud that was stuck in the murky pond.
Rabbits and hares are gracefully dancing through the bushes..
They find a carrot or two settled in the ground, the rabbits get nibbles of the carrot and run
before the fox comes.
There is a brave ,confident ,white wolf at the top of the mountain…
Old mountain equipment lies in the powdery snow.... there is a keen rabbit burrowed in,
where she.... is no longer a precious threat for the wolf.
